2 Weeks Old Feb 9, 2007
I'm very excited to see the quality of these pups. Blitz's maternal uncle, Storm, took Best of Breed at Westminster a few years ago, and Cloudy's paternal aunt took Winner's Bitch at Crufts (the world's biggest dog show, held in England)! So there's some real potential here.
Danny and I are British mystery fanatics. I was going to use musical terms for this litter, but Savannah suggested using names from our favorite shows. What a great idea! These aren't permanent names, they're just 'call names' for while the pups are here. When the pups are between 4 - 5 weeks old, and are paired with their new families, we will call them by the names their new families have chosen (if they've done so).
Cloudy's such a proud mommy!
Here they are, in alphabetical order
Barnaby
His collar announces he's #1.

Foyle

Giving him a pacifier got him to hold still.
|

Is that cheating? ;~)
|
He's a little cuddlebum. He already has Savannah wrapped around his little paw.

Frost

Frost knows he's a snazzy guy, notice how he's posing in the top picture!
|

Do you think he has enough copper?
|

Hetty

Naturally, this girl is spoken for,
whether breed or pet quality
|

Hetty has spunk. Not as much as Thyme, but she's a close second
|

Lewis

His eyes are opening. He's the first!
He has tons of copper trim.

Morse

He's smiling for the camera again in the top picture.
He has more white than Frost, and more copper than Foyle.
Goldilocks would say he's just right!

Poirot

Here's what their top half looked like.

Here's what the bottom half looked like, off screen. (Frog legs, anyone? ;~D)
Poirot appears to be on the mellow side. (Though I'm making no promises at this point!)
He's another guy with copper to spare.

Rosemary

Another puppy that needed my 'secret weapon' to get her to hold still. ;~)
The mark on her neck looks like an arrow saying 'This Way Up'

Thyme

If this booger keeps up at the rate she's going, she's REALLY going to need a job to do!

Savannah has a LOT of thyme on her hands! |

If I could save thyme in a bottle.....
|
Okay, you knew it was just a matter of thyme before the bad puns started.....

Frost on the left, Foyle on the right.

This many pups can be overwhelming!
(Notice Rosemary on his chest, you can see the arrow on her neck.)

Poirot giving Morse a hug.

Hmmm, I wonder what toe jam tastes like....
|

EWWWWW!
|
This clip shows some of the joys of doggy motherhood that I'm glad we don't share!
