2 Weeks Old, Feb 11, 07
We're continuing the British Mystery them for this litter as well. But with 11 puppies to name, *8* of them girls, we've had to cast our net a little wider. We've taken names from other English series that are special to us. Of course, once their new families have chosen names for their puppies, we'll start calling them by those names.
With 9 black tris, it might seem hard to tell them apart. Don't panic! Pretend you're a marine biologist, identifying humpback whales by their unique flukes. :~D Look closely at the shape of the blaze (white stripe between eyes), the shape of the collar on the left and right sides, and how much white and copper is on each leg. (The copper can be hard to see, so look closely.) As they get older, it will be easier to tell them apart.
Belle finally has enough puppies to keep her busy
This page is VERY graphics intensive, so it may take a long time to load.
Here they are, in alphabetical order
Annie
(Girl, named after 'A Year in Provence')
What a flashy girl! The only way to tell her and Thyme apart is the shape of blaze on top of the head.

Barbara
(Girl, named after 'Good Neighbors' aka 'The Good Life')
She really does have 2 eyes, trust me. ;~D She has very unique markings.

Christina
(Girl, named after 'Flambards')

This tiny girl has me wrapped around her little paw.

Cully
(Girl, named after Barnaby's daughter in 'Midsomer Murders')

Cully is the other one that has wriggled her way into my heart.
Not that I don't adore the others, but when they're this tiny...........Maybe they just bring out the maternal instinct.

Hastings
(Male, named after sidekick in 'Poirot')

Along with being flashy, he has great 'substance'.

Helen
(Girl, named after 'All Creatures Great and Small')

Little Miss Grubby Face! We'd interrupted her meal....

Joan
(Girl, named after Barnaby's wife in 'Midsomer Murders')
She's a classy little lady

Margo
(Girl, named after 'Good Neighbors' aka 'The Good Life')

Another flashy girl, who's getting plenty to eat!

Milner
(Male, named after sidekick in "Foyle's War")

What a sweetie pie

Sam
(Girl, named after the driver in "Foyle's War")

Hamming it up for the camera
Okay, I'll admit it, this is the third one I could easily keep. Danny just rolls his eyes at me. (Though he has his eye on Lewis......)

Troy
(Boy, named after sidekick in 'Midsomer Murders')

I'm wondering if we have another Harley here.....

What an odd looking puppy! Tophat was supervising the photo shoot.
He's the guy we're putting in with the pups, and he rubs his head all over them. (You can see more of him on our 'Cats' page.
